Mane Tail and Coat tips for keeping them nice over the winter for the show season ahead?

My horse has a really nice mane and tail “when there clean that is” hahaha and i want to keep them nice over the rest of the winter for the spring shows?…any tips?

Bath your horse about 3 days before a show – this means that the oils have time to get back into the coat and make them shine.

To get an amzing shine in your horses coat, youll need 4 basic brushes – a dandy brush, a body brush, a very very soft body brush (goast hair or something like that) and a hard brush (eg. water brush). Firstly use the dandy brush and the body brush, one in each hand. Really groom your horse all over- you should be sweating by the time you’ve finished! Do this for about 15 minutes. Next, use the water brush and the soft body brush. Do the same again- brush hard for 15 minutes. Trust me, this will really work, and your horse will have an amazing shine within 3 or 4 days! After this finish off with a silk scarf to give that extra shine and softness.
